The production facility entered operation in 1981, covers approximately 20,000 m2 and employs around 1,800 people. The annual production volume is around 138,3 million electronic units, with parts requirements amounting to around 11,3 billion electronic components per year.
This tour will give you a fascinating insight into the world of Industrie 4.0. You’ll get to see our driverless transport robots that navigate themselves autonomously through the aisles of the production halls, machines that communicate automatically with each other and many other Industry 4.0 highlights. The Regensburg plant is a pioneer on the road to Industrie 4.0 and actively promotes digitalization with its new “Model Plant” pilot project.

You must register in advance in order to take part in a tour. During the tours, which take place exclusively during ongoing production, selected areas of production will be visited and explained

Dates:
Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. and 15:00 p.m. In exceptional cases, tours may take place outside these times.
Continental employees and temporary workers can register for tours as an individual or book exclusive group tours for departments or project teams. The tours for individuals take place at fixed times and in mixed groups.

External visitor groups such as companies, school groups or universities are welcome to take a look behind the scenes at Continental Regensburg on an exclusive group tour. Please understand, that external visitors can only enter the tour as group, but not as individuals.
