The Regensburg location is one of over 500 Continental locations worldwide, employs around 5,000 people and covers a total surface area of 218,000 m2. Visitors and employees can gain a whole new insight into the company by taking part in a guided tour through Continental’s largest electronics plant in Germany. So what is manufactured at the Regensburg location, and where can you find its products in your car? You will have answers to these and many other questions after taking a tour. But what’s even more interesting is the “how.” The magic word here at Continental is “Industrie 4.0.” Since 2018, Continental Regensburg has been the model plant for Industrie 4.0. Before being rolled out at other Continental locations, Industrie 4.0 applications are trialed here in the state-of-the-art production facility and logistics center.

The “Continental LIVE!” visitor center features a range of interactive simulations showcasing the site's innovative developments and products and is also the starting point for the guided tours.
